The distance is short. The time is unpredictable, and here is why. Kashi Vishwanath sits inside the old city, where the lanes around the temple are closed to vehicles. You walk out to the nearest motorable point first, typically towards Godowlia or Sonarpura, and pick up transport from there.
From that point the drive south is straightforward, running roughly along the Sonarpura and Bhadaini stretch towards Durga Kund and Lanka.
Practical advice: do Kashi Vishwanath early in the morning, then Sankat Mochan afterwards. Both are calmest early, and doing them in that order means you are travelling out of the old city rather than into it as the crowds build.
